Oklahoma SB848 prohibits schools from using federal funds for activities promoting sexual orientation or gender identity.

Oklahoma SB848, known as the Oklahoma Independent Education Act, prohibits school districts and public charter schools from using federal funds for activities promoting sexual orientation or gender identity. The act defines "gender identity" as a person's innate sense of gender and "sexual orientation" as a person's identity in relation to the gender or genders to which the person is sexually attracted.
