Oklahoma SB830 modifies the Court of Civil Appeals' authority to review certain decisions and assigns appeals to it.

Oklahoma SB830 amends the Court of Civil Appeals' jurisdiction and review authority. It mandates the Supreme Court to assign every appeal of a district court decision, excluding criminal cases, to the Court of Civil Appeals. Decisions by the Court of Civil Appeals are not appealable to the Supreme Court unless a majority of its Justices grant a writ of certiorari. The Supreme Court cannot recall cases assigned to the Court of Civil Appeals. Effective date specified.
