Oklahoma SB786 amends existing law to increase fines for transporting intoxicating beverages and low-point beer in moving vehicles unless in the original container and stored in the rear trunk or compartment. It also prohibits the consumption of medical marijuana while operating a motor vehicle on a public highway. The bill updates statutory references and specifies that the provisions do not apply to buses and limousines, except for the driver's immediate possession of intoxicating beverages or low-point beer. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
