Oklahoma SB782 modifies the scope of unlawful carry of firearms in certain places and updates business owner's rights.

Oklahoma SB782 amends the Oklahoma Statutes to modify the scope of unlawful carry of firearms in certain places and updates business owner's rights. It allows elected county officials with a valid handgun license to carry concealed handguns in courthouses. It authorizes certain county employees with valid handgun licenses to carry concealed handguns on county annex facilities or grounds. It prohibits carrying firearms into certain places, including schools, sports fields, and fairgrounds, unless allowed by the event holder.
