Oklahoma SB645 removes approval requirement for state agencies to purchase trucks or pickups for official duties.

Oklahoma SB645 amends the state statutes to eliminate the need for approval to purchase trucks or pickups by state agencies when necessary for official duties. The bill also updates statutory references and specifies that trucks and pickups owned by the Department of Transportation must be painted yellow or white and marked with "State of Oklahoma" followed by the department's name. The changes will take effect on November 1, 2025.
