Oklahoma SB6 amends the election dates for school district board of education members and candidates. The general election for board members will be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November in even-numbered years and the first Tuesday of April in odd-numbered years. The primary election will be held on the second Tuesday in September of odd-numbered years. Candidates must file for office between 8:00 a.m. on the first Monday in April and 5:00 p.m. on the following Friday. Special elections can be called by the board of education for any authorized matter.
