Oklahoma SB584 introduces new consumer credit protections by requiring a signed disclosure statement from consumers before a hard credit report can be pulled. The Department of Consumer Credit must make available an online form prescribed by the Commission on Consumer Credit. This form includes identifying information of the requester, the consumer's consent, and a disclosure statement explaining the effects on the consumer's credit score and report. The act takes effect November 1, 2025.
