Oklahoma SB533 exempts certain employees from needing an employee license for alcohol sales.

Oklahoma SB533 amends the state's Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission (ABLE) regulations to exempt certain employees from needing an employee license for alcohol sales. Specifically, employees of beer distributors, special event caterers, and those who only sell alcohol to licensed establishments are exempt. Additionally, employees involved in stocking hotel mini-bars or handling alcoholic beverages for such devices must have an employee license. The bill also mandates that the ABLE Commission notify an applicant's employer if an employee license application is denied.
