Oklahoma SB454 modifies the Oklahoma School Testing Program, changing school grade descriptions and removing certain language.

Oklahoma SB454 amends the Oklahoma School Testing Program by modifying the grades and descriptions given to schools. It changes the grade "A" to mean schools making excellent progress, "B" to mean schools making above average progress, "C" to mean schools making satisfactory progress, and "D" to mean schools making less than satisfactory progress. The bill removes the ability for the State Board of Education to adopt an alternative accountability system for virtual charter schools.
