Oklahoma SB42 amends boating safety regulations, including flag display requirements and supervision for water skiing and parasailing.

Oklahoma SB42 amends the Oklahoma Boating Safety Regulation Act, updating statutory language and adding provisions. It requires a red or orange flag measuring at least 12 inches by 12 inches to be displayed on vessels operating between sunset and sunrise. It also mandates that vessels towing individuals using parasails or water skis must have an observer at least eight years old in addition to the operator. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
