Oklahoma SB349 mandates higher education institutions to report funding from foreign sources.
Oklahoma SB349 requires certain institutions of higher education to report funding from foreign sources. The report must detail the amount, type, and purpose of the funding, as well as the foreign source's identity. Reports are due at the start of each quarter, subject to the Oklahoma Open Records Act, and must be posted on the institution's website and submitted to the Governor and legislative committee chairs. Failure to comply can result in fines, with unreported funding deposited in the General Revenue Fund. The Attorney General can investigate noncompliance.
