Oklahoma SB33 authorizes the State Treasurer to create a gold and silver depository and issue transaction cards for debiting deposits.

Oklahoma SB33 allows the State Treasurer to establish a depository for gold and silver, issue transaction cards to state citizens, and develop a fee structure for the depository and the Treasurer. Transactions made using the transaction cards will be considered legal tender. The bill also codifies these provisions in the Oklahoma Statutes.
