Int Text

Clarifies that certain employees of institutions of higher education receive six weeks of paid parental leave.

This bill amends the Oklahoma statutes to clarify that full-time employees of institutions of higher education, who have been employed by the state agency for at least two years, are entitled to six weeks of paid parental leave following the birth or adoption of their child. The leave is considered uninterrupted service for purposes of seniority, pay, and performance awards. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services may create rules to implement this change. The bill's provisions will only become effective if Enrolled Senate Bill No.
