Oklahoma SB26 allows retired teachers to return to work without earnings limits under certain conditions.

Oklahoma SB26 amends the Teachers' Retirement System to allow retired members to engage in postretirement employment without earnings limitations. Specifically, retired members who have not been employed by a public school for at least one year can return to work as active classroom teachers in common or career tech school districts without earnings caps. Additionally, members who retire on or after July 1, 2020, and have not been employed by a public school for a year can also return to work without earnings limits.
