Oklahoma SB218 extends driver licenses for certain offenders and facilitates post-release employment.

Oklahoma SB218 provides for the extension of certain driver licenses for offenders not requiring mandatory revocation. It mandates the Department of Corrections to assist inmates in obtaining post-release employment by providing necessary documentation. The bill also requires coordination with the Department of Public Safety Service Oklahoma to issue a REAL ID Noncompliant Identification Card for inmates without a current state-issued identification card or driver license.
