Oklahoma SB2160 establishes a process for legislative committees to issue subpoenas. A subpoena can be issued by the chair of the committee or jointly by the chair and vice chair, upon authorization by a majority vote of the committee. Disobedience of a subpoena or disorderly conduct in relation to it constitutes contempt. Any conflicting rules of the Senate or House of Representatives are superseded by this act.
