Oklahoma SB2139 amends the state law to require county clerks to remove discriminatory language from existing plats. The bill mandates that any restrictive covenant on property in a residential addition may be amended if certain conditions are met. It also requires a thirty-day notice to property owners before any meeting to amend restrictive covenants. The discriminatory language in existing plats is declared unlawful, unenforceable, and null and void, with the rest of the plat remaining enforceable. The act becomes effective November 1, 2026.
