SB2134

Oklahoma SB2134 mandates wreckers to contact county emergency management for assistance with livestock and poultry involved in accidents.

Oklahoma SB2134 defines livestock and poultry, and requires wreckers responding to accidents involving these animals to contact the county emergency management organization. The organization must then assist with the humane treatment and disposition of the animals, following guidance from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. This law codifies these provisions in the Oklahoma Statutes.
