SB2108

Oklahoma SB2108 regulates feral swine control, permits, and penalties.

Oklahoma SB2108 amends laws to allow landowners, agricultural lessees, and their agents to control feral swine without a permit during the day or night, provided they have written permission from the landowner or lessee. It prohibits taking feral swine during regular deer gun seasons unless the person is in possession of a legal firearm. The bill also prohibits transporting, importing, or releasing feral swine. It allows the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry to issue permits for managing depredating animals by aircraft.
