SB2078

Motor vehicles; creating the Oklahoma Diesel Engine Freedom Act. Emergency.

Introduced·2/2/26
Int Text

Oklahoma Diesel Engine Freedom Act prohibits state enforcement of federal diesel exhaust fluid mandates.

The Oklahoma Diesel Engine Freedom Act asserts the state's authority to regulate intrastate commerce and prohibits state agencies from enforcing federal laws requiring diesel exhaust fluid for vehicles within Oklahoma. The act allows the manufacture and use of diesel engines that do not require diesel exhaust fluid and imposes fines on those enforcing federal mandates. It also repeals a section of Oklahoma Statutes related to emission control systems.
