Oklahoma SB2077 amends the state's credit card transaction laws to increase the surcharge limit to four percent. This change applies to all sales, service, and lease transactions, including consumer credit sales. The surcharge must be clearly and conspicuously posted at the point of entry, point of sale, home page, and point-of-sale webpage. The bill also specifies that sellers must comply with federal regulations if they are registered with the United States Department of the Treasury as a money transmitter. The act will take effect on November 1, 2026.
