Oklahoma SB205 establishes criteria for medical marijuana research licenses, including fees and purposes.

Oklahoma SB205 authorizes the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority to issue research licenses for analyzing patient-reported outcomes related to medical marijuana use. Licensees can evaluate available products and conduct studies to assess the impact of medical marijuana on medical conditions. The initial fee for a research license is $500. The Authority must create rules for license issuance, application approvals, compliance monitoring, and reporting. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
