Oklahoma SB2042 amends the Nursing Home Care Act to define "emergency" as a life-endangering situation. It requires the State Department of Health to submit inspection results within 30 days, including deficiencies and recommendations. The Department must offer an informal dispute resolution process and notify licensees of potential remedial actions. In emergencies, the Department can issue immediate orders without prior notice. The act updates statutory references and language, effective November 1, 2026.
