SB1981

Oklahoma SB1981 allows licensed security guards and police officers to wear their agency's uniform while volunteering at places of worship.

Oklahoma SB1981 amends the Oklahoma Security Guard and Private Investigator Act to allow licensed security guards and police officers to wear their agency's uniform while providing volunteer security services at established places of worship, with the consent of the employing agency. This provision aims to enhance the security presence at religious sites while ensuring that volunteers adhere to the standards set by their employing agencies. The bill also includes a codification section and specifies an effective date for the new law.
