Oklahoma SB1968 directs the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education to adopt a policy allowing college credit for courses taken at technology.

Oklahoma SB1968 mandates the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, in consultation with the State Board of Career and Technology Education, to establish a policy enabling institutions within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education to grant college credit for courses taken at technology center school districts. The policy must be adopted by July 1, 2026, and the act is declared an emergency, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval.
