Oklahoma SB1933 prohibits certain water uses and actions within ten miles of a river's main channel.

Oklahoma SB1933 defines "immediate vicinity" as an area within ten miles of a river's main channel. It prohibits using water for nonlocal purposes, building dams or diversion structures, and conducting certain agricultural activities in this area. The act does not apply to existing practices or structures before its effective date of November 1, 2026.
