Oklahoma SB1926 amends the Protection from Domestic Abuse Act to allow victims of domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, rape, and other crimes to file petitions in any county. The bill also allows victims to request exclusive care of animals and modifies the petition process. The Administrative Office of the Courts will develop standard petition forms. The act becomes effective November 1, 2026.
