Oklahoma SB1800 requires law enforcement agencies to notify school boards and parents if a school employee is investigated, arrested, or charged with offenses against students. The school board must suspend the employee without a hearing until the investigation concludes. The suspension cannot deprive the employee of compensation or benefits, and the employee cannot resign during the suspension. The State Board of Education will create rules to implement these provisions, effective July 1, 2026.
