Oklahoma SB180 expands the appeals process for child care facility licensees in disputes with the Department of Human Services.

Oklahoma SB180 amends the state's child care licensing laws to broaden the appeals process for licensees or applicants who are aggrieved by decisions from the Department of Human Services. Specifically, it allows any licensee or applicant to appeal to the district court within ten days of a decision to revoke or deny a license, reduce a rating, or reduce payment. The Department must be notified of the appeal within five days of filing.
