SB1769

Oklahoma SB1769 allows owners of short-term rental properties to require identification from renters and cancel agreements without penalty if.

Oklahoma SB1769 introduces a new section in the Oklahoma Statutes to address short-term rental contracts. It defines key terms such as "owner," "renter," and "guest." The bill allows owners of short-term rental properties to request identification from renters and their guests after the rental agreement is completed. If the owner discovers a discrepancy between the submitted identification and the information provided by the renter, they can cancel the agreement without penalty.
