Oklahoma SB175 establishes the Uninsured Commercial Vehicle Recovery Reimbursement Fund. The fund will reimburse wrecker and tower operators who provide nonconsensual tow services to uninsured commercial vehicles. The Corporation Commission is authorized to impose a $100 fee on vehicles registered under the International Registration Plan that report mileage in the state. Five percent of the collected fees will be deposited into the fund. The fund will be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal year limitations. The bill also declares an emergency.
