Oklahoma SB174 increases benefits for retirees from the Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma based on years of retirement.

Oklahoma SB174 provides for an increase in benefits for retirees from the Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma, based on the number of years they have been retired as of June 30, 2025. Retirees who have been retired for less than two years receive a zero percent increase, those retired for at least two but less than five years receive a two percent increase, and those retired for five years or more receive a four percent increase. This new law will be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 17-116.23 of Title 70.
