Oklahoma SB1731 allows property owners with land served by multiple electric providers to choose their preferred provider.

Oklahoma SB1731 introduces a new law allowing individuals with property that straddles the service areas of multiple electric providers to select their preferred provider. This choice is to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 158.33 of Title 17. The bill specifies that the law will take effect on November 1, 2026.
