Oklahoma SB1688 amends the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department by transferring the duties of the Executive Director to the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission. The bill also removes the Governor's authority to appoint the Director, instead authorizing the Commission to make this appointment. The Commission is granted powers to adopt an official seal, make bylaws, appoint officers, make contracts, and promulgate rules.
