Oklahoma SB166 removes the prohibition on municipal registration of real property.
Oklahoma SB166 amends 11 O.S. 2021, Section 22-110.1, to remove the prohibition on municipal registration of real property. Municipal governments may now require contact information of persons or entities responsible for emergency contracts and property maintenance for specified properties. The municipality cannot assess any additional charge for this information. Information obtained under this section is confidential and not subject to disclosure under the Oklahoma Open Records Act. The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
