Oklahoma SB1576 provides sales tax exemption for retired law enforcement officers and requires verification.

Oklahoma SB1576 amends the Oklahoma Sales Tax Code to exempt sales tax for certain retired law enforcement officers. The Commission verifies eligibility and issues an exemption card. The exemption applies to purchases made on behalf of the retired officer by a spouse or household member.
