Oklahoma SB1529 amends campaign finance rules to limit contributions and expenditures by political committees.

Oklahoma SB1529 amends the Rules of the Ethics Commission to limit contributions and expenditures by political committees. It prohibits certain contributions, such as those exceeding $10,000 to a political party committee or $5,000 to other committees in a calendar year. The bill also restricts contributions to candidates, allowing up to $5,000 before the primary election and an additional $5,000 after the primary election. It limits contributions to unlimited committees to $5,000 for independent expenditures or electioneering communications.
