Oklahoma SB1515 amends the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act to prohibit financial institutions from refusing to provide, restricting, or terminating service to a customer based on specific factors, including lawful business activities and lawful preservation of privacy. Customers denied service can request a statement of specific reasons within 90 days. The bill also authorizes the Attorney General to bring civil action and seek remedies for violations and allows harmed individuals to initiate civil action. The act becomes effective November 1, 2026.
