Oklahoma SB1513 prohibits political subdivisions from enacting ordinances that require or permit the introduction of fluoride into water systems.

Oklahoma SB1513 declares an emergency and prohibits political subdivisions from enacting or enforcing ordinances that require or permit the introduction of fluoride into water systems. The bill also prohibits public or private businesses from taking similar actions. The Department of Environmental Quality is directed to promulgate rules to implement these provisions. The bill defines "fluoride" as a chemical compound used in fluoridation, including fluorosilicic acid, sodium fluorosilicate, and sodium fluoride.
