Oklahoma SB1504 modifies the appointing authority of the Administrator of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.

Oklahoma SB1504 amends the governance of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority by changing the appointing authority of the Administrator. The Administrator will now be appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The bill also modifies the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board's composition and duties, including establishing policies, appointing the Administrator, and preparing annual plans and reports. The changes are set to take effect on November 1, 2026.
