Oklahoma SB1383 amends the state Medicaid program to include coverage for diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES). This includes education on healthy eating, physical activity, self-monitoring, and medication use. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board will create rules for provider eligibility, service scope, coverage, and reimbursement. The act will become effective November 1, 2026.
