Oklahoma SB1325 amends the Protection from Domestic Abuse Act to mandate the use of a Global Positioning System (GPS) device for defendants charged with domestic abuse by strangulation, domestic abuse with a dangerous or deadly weapon, or domestic abuse after a previous adjudication. The GPS device must be paid for by the defendant and monitored by the Department of Corrections until the conclusion of the case. The court may also authorize the victim to monitor the defendant's location. The act takes effect November 1, 2026.
