Establishes the State Employee Compensation Board to recommend salary and benefit adjustments for state employees.

The bill creates the State Employee Compensation Board, which will consist of five members appointed by the Governor and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. The Board will meet in odd-numbered years to recommend adjustments to salaries, benefit allowances, and other compensation for state employees. These recommendations must be electronically transmitted to the Governor, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Minority Leader of the Senate, and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives. The bill will become effective November 1, 2026.
