Introduced·2/3/25

Oklahoma SB1045 removes certain limitations on appointees to the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.

Oklahoma SB1045 amends the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists by expanding the pool of potential appointees. The Governor can now consider recommendations from a statewide organization representing psychologists or a state chapter of a national organization. The Board will consist of ten members, including five psychologists from various areas and two laypersons. Members serve four-year terms and must take the constitutional oath of office. The bill also updates statutory language and sets an effective date.
