Oklahoma SB1043 amends the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision membership, adding physician assistant members and removing certain limitations on appointees. The bill specifies that physician members must be currently licensed physicians who have practiced in Oklahoma for three years or retired physicians who remain in compliance with continuing medical education requirements. Physician assistant members must be graduates of accredited programs recognized by the Board.
