Oklahoma HJR1027 proposes a constitutional amendment to add Article XXXI, establishing a fundamental right to reproductive freedom. This includes the right to make and carry out decisions about pregnancy, such as prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, contraception, sterilization, abortion, miscarriage management, and infertility. The state cannot prohibit an abortion if medically necessary to protect a patient's life or health.
