Oklahoma HJR1008 proposes a constitutional amendment to change the eligibility criteria for candidates running for the office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. The amendment would require candidates to have state age administrator certification and at least five years of experience as a school principal or superintendent. These new requirements would apply starting from the general election in November 2030 and subsequent elections. The proposed amendment will be put to a vote by the people of Oklahoma.
