Oklahoma HJR1004 proposes a constitutional amendment to limit the fair cash value of a homestead for certain low-income homeowners.

Oklahoma HJR1004 proposes a constitutional amendment to limit the fair cash value of a homestead for individuals who have owned and occupied the property for at least ten years and meet certain income requirements. The fair cash value will not exceed the value placed on the property during the tenth year of ownership, provided the head of household owns and occupies the property and the gross household income does not exceed the amount determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
