It modifies the definition of electrical journeyman, allowing them to perform certain acts under the supervision of a licensed electrical contractor. The bill also holds licensed contractors legally liable for the work performed by journeyman electricians. Additionally, it exempts Class 2 and Class 3 circuits from electrical licensing requirements if performed by specific entities. The changes will take effect on November 1, 2026.
