Oklahoma HB3971 removes the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority's power to acquire land by condemnation.

Oklahoma HB3971 amends Oklahoma Statutes to remove the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority's power to acquire land by condemnation. The bill also removes the authority's ability to acquire certain easements by condemnation and repeals the section related to condemnation proceedings. The changes take effect on November 1, 2026.
